Here’s what you can expect when we work together:
Designing a home is a deeply personal experience, and for many, a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. My role is to guide you through the process with patience, clarity, and care, ensuring you feel informed and supported every step of the way. Together, we’ll create a space that reflects your lifestyle and values, making every detail of your investment truly worthwhile.
Step 1
INITIAL CONVERSATION
Getting to Know You
We’ll start with a complimentary phone call to discuss your project goals, timeline, and general questions. This is our chance to learn about you, your space, and your vision, and to make sure we’re a great fit to work together.
Step 2
ON-SITE MEETING
Exploring Your Space
Next, we’ll meet in person at your home or property for a complimentary site visit. Seeing the space in person helps us understand its character, opportunities, and challenges. After this visit, we’ll provide a tailored proposal outlining the design services and a flat design fee for your project.
Step 3
EXISTING CONDITIONS
Measuring & Modeling Your Space
Before design begins, we’ll take detailed measurements and assess your existing space. Back in the studio, we’ll build a digital 3D model of your home to serve as the foundation for our design work. This stage may also include gathering surveys, reviewing zoning information, and evaluating site conditions.
Step 4
SCHEMATIC DESIGN
Shaping the Vision
Here’s where the creativity begins! Together, we’ll explore your needs, priorities, and inspiration to develop several design options. We present the concepts in a variety of ways, from 3D walkthroughs to plans and elevations, so you can clearly visualize each idea. Through collaborative refinement, we’ll combine your favorite elements and fine-tune the design until it feels just right.
Step 5
DESIGN DEVELOPEMENT
Refining the Details
Once the overall layout and concept are approved, we’ll dive deeper into the details: cabinetry layouts, materials, lighting, and structural elements. This is also when we can invite contractors to review the design and provide preliminary cost estimates, helping ensure the project aligns with your budget before moving forward
Step 6
CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS
Preparing for Permits
With the design and budget in sync, we’ll prepare a complete set of drawings and technical documentation needed for permits and construction. These plans include all relevant construction details and code information to ensure a smooth approval process.
Step 7
CONSTRUCTION OBSERVATION
Guiding the Build
Once construction begins, I remain involved throughout the process, conducting site visits, coordinating with your builder, and helping resolve any design questions that arise.
My goal is to make the process as seamless as possible so you can enjoy watching your new space take shape.

PROJECT COMPLETION
Moving Into Your New Space
The best part ! Moving in and making new memories in your beautifully transformed home!
